Peckham Festival returns this September โ taking over the railway arches, warehouses, galleries and rooftops of the trendy southeast London ‘hood with music, art, workshops, markets and a slew of other activities.
The free festival runs from 15-17 September 2023, and is expected to draw in crowds of around 20,000, with its free fun for all the family. On the docket so far:
๐ค Main stage takeovers from GALA (Sat) and Balamii (Sun), who’ll be curating upcoming acts and DJs.
๐ง Live DJs and artists at Prince of Peckham, Jumbi Peckham and Jazu.
๐จ๐ฟ Staying Power, an immersive exhibition exploring Black British identity โ at Copeland Gallery.
๐ A chance to get your Christmas shopping done super early, as Pexmas hosts 100 independent makers in Unit 08 at Copeland Park.
๐ A pop-up of premium fashion and lifestyle Black-owned brands courtesy of Our Community.
๐น Family workshops from School of Skate, Clown Skateboards, Keep Rolling Company, and mental health zine It’s Okay Project.
๐ Pan-African storytelling from CultureTree, plus a Black and PoC literature workshop from Dopereaders.
Plus lashings more live performance, films, panel discussions… it’s all going on!
