Thanksgiving 2025 falls on Thursday 27 November. While it’s an American holiday, there are plenty of opportunities for American expats, former US residents and general food/party lovers to celebrate Thanksgiving here in London.
Thanksgiving 2025 meals and special menus in London
All available on 27 November only, unless otherwise stated. Most require advance booking — check with individual venues for details.
Thanksgiving at Christopher’s, Covent Garden
American-inspired Covent Garden stalwart Christopher’s was one of the first London restaurants we knew of which celebrated Thanksgiving each year, and following a refurb, it keeps the tradition going for 2025. The menu includes roast sweetcorn and chorizo chowder with coconut cream, smoked duck tacos with chipotle-pickled cabbage, and slow-cooked ballotine of turkey with cornbread, cherry and chestnut stuffing, creamed potatoes and cranberry relish.
For something less traditional, opt for the Missouri-spiced rack of lamb with corn tamale and avocado salsa; seared wild bass; or prime rib-eye steak served with candied yams and béarnaise.
To finish, choose between pumpkin pie with bourbon Chantilly, warm apple and macadamia crumble with custard, or chocolate brownie with pistachio ice cream and Valrhona sauce.
Thanksgiving at Christopher’s. £85 per person.
Thanksgiving at 108Brasserie, Marylebone
Anywhere with its own dedicated pie room has got to be near the top of the list for an all-American Thanksgiving feast. Filled with all manner of sweet pies (pecan, pumpkin, Mississippi mud, key lime, banoffee), this is the finale to the four-course feast, which also includes spice Maine lobster rolls, Baltimore-style crab cakes with chicory & avocado salad, or roasted pumpkin and charred corn salad with homemade cornbread.
The main course is — that’s right — roast turkey plus trimmings galore: stuffing, sweet potato mash, creamed corn, roast potatoes, green bean & mushroom cassoulet, and that all-important cranberry relish,
(Really though, it’s all about the pie room.)
Thanksgiving at 108Brasserie, £75 per person.
Thanksgiving at Sea Containers Restaurant, South Bank
Four courses await — with Thames views to boot — at Sea Containers Restaurant’s Thanksgiving feast. Begin with traditional starters such as buttermilk cornbread, jumbo shrimp cocktail and devilled eggs, followed by a choice of Norfolk turkey or butternut squash wellington.
